Blog Information.

Writing blogs is not an easy task, looking for information on a subject just leads you to other bloggers covering that information, but I figured out that’s a good thing. I know I still have a lot to learn, especially tips and tricks of the trade to succeed in the field of blogging but wanted to share the bit of knowledge I gathered thus far with other beginners that may come across my blog.

For beginners just like myself, take advantage of websites offering help, I am not saying spend your hard-earned money on offers that look good, I’m saying do your homework there are a lot of free websites set up to help us. “The Blog starter” is a wonderful place to start, Scott Chow has step-by-step instructions on how to start a blog. This was the first website I came across when I decided to start blogging, it has helped me tremendously. I also discover a site by Ryan Robinson that was very informative, successful blog information.

The one thing I have to say is this; the field of blogging is not greedy, it seems all Marketers, and Bloggers are willing to share their knowledge with up-and-coming entrepreneurs, which is a good thing for all of us newbies. Now, a word of wisdom be careful jumping into a website without reading what they offer, you do not want to sign up for something you do not want or need.

Take your time read the terms and conditions and see what they offer if it is not what you’re looking for move on, you are under no obligation to sign anything unless you want to. What you must remember is all websites have “Fine print” you may miss, and most of those fine prints are tricky, and can hurt you financially if not caught right away.

And please be especially careful with free trials, Read, Read, Read. The reason I touch on this subject is because I found myself trapped in a free trial that charged my account a whole lot more than specified. So please do yourself a favor and take that little bit of extra time, do not rush into anything. Remember if it looks too good to be true, it might just be.

Ok, now that I got the scary subjects out of the way lets touch on “AI” blog writing. I don’t know how to feel about that, I mean yes it would be great to have your blog written in under 15 min, but is it really your blog now? Don’t get me wrong, I am not discrediting the idea of having that type of help, I’m merely asking, is it actually your blog now?

I have investigated the “AI” option, I read the reviews watched the ads and like always you have your good, and your bad reviews. And its understandable most beginning bloggers have a tough time thinking of the perfect title to catch the audience they are targeting; the impressive part is that these products do it all for you. According to the ads you get “Title suggestions”, plus have the blog written for you. If you are a person on the go, this may be a practical choice for you, I am still considering it just for the fact that it could help me be a better writer.

I’m sure you asked yourself, “How can I put myself out there?” The answer is social media. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. When connecting with social media, let your audience know who you are, audiences feel more confident if they know a little information on the source.

And you my friend will be the source, so be truthful with what you write, be as clear as possible when writing, and try not to write anything that makes the reader feel like you’re forcing them to react like pressing the “CTA button” (Call to action). Yes, you want to sell your product, but your visitor needs to feel welcomed. And the reward for that is, a returning customer.

In conclusion: Remember take your time, do the homework on your subject, be mindful of what you sign up for, and take advantage of websites offering help.

Thank you.
