Biggest question to ask yourself "Where do we get good cookware? Well the answer is "pretty much anywhere".
There are tons of websites containing good cookware, but you need to ask yourself yet another question, "Is the research on the products actually being done?" I certainly hope they do, consumers need to rely on information from these sites to make a informative decision on what to purchase.
The other question you need to ask yourself "How is it rated", my take as a consumer is as follows:
Quality
Durability
Ease of cleaning
Heat conductivity
Price
Doing research for my own residence, I came across a few sites that made me do a double take, I started jumping from site to site just to make sure I wasn't seeing things. 2 out of 5 sites had the exact rating for the same item, the last 3 sites had ratings that differed from each other, now I know that is possible depending on the audience, but it does make one wonder.
I don't want to discredit any site by any means, but once again are the researches getting done. Anyone and everyone that shops online knows that research on product is important, both to the consumer and the website that's giving the rating.
I would not want to be the person that buys a pan set, and the pans start losing their nonstick coating a week after purchase, or maybe the handles start falling off, and all because the trust was put on a website that rated this product 5 stars. A lot of consumers see 5 stars and automatically hit that button, some consumers may not even know how the rating of products work, therefore fall victim to buying without knowing.
Let's be honest, consumers don't want to be bouncing from site to site looking for pots and pans. Most just run to "Walmart" and buy the first thing that looks nice, which may not be a bad deal, they have pretty good items themselves.
Unfortunately for those consumers, even stores like "Walmart" are putting their best products online purchase only. Which makes the online purchasing process just a bit tougher, do I want a set of dishes for $59.99 or $39.99. Not a hard decision right?, or is it? Who rated the products from those store? no one knows, you find out how good they are once you get them home.
Question I'm sure consumers will ask themselves. "Will we find good products in store?" The answer is absolutely, but at a small risk. Remember the old saying, "You get what you pay for". And more times than not that rings true.
My only words of wisdom are "Please be careful when purchasing products. Do your homework, and do the research", believe me you'll feel better in the long run, and always try to get the best product for the least amount of money. That's what shopping is all about.
And in conclusion.
There may be thousands of products out there of different brands and styles, but remember your style is the important one. See what you like, and buy what you love.
