A night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a present was showing, I felt like a louse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, but they were flat and empty we had nothing to share; The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of electronics danced in their heads; And mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just rattled our brains to get gifts in a snap.

When out on the lawn such a clatter arose, that I jumped out of bed and stubbed three of my toes. I flew to the window as nosey as I am, tore open the curtains, and set up my cam.
The moon was shining on the new-fallen snow, giving me light to record as I go. When, what to my wondering eyes did appear, But a billboard that read big sale on here, I woke up the wife, so abruptly and slick, I have an idea to get presents quick.
More rapid than eagles these ideas they came, And I whistled, and shouted, and called them by name: “Now, Google! now, Yahoo! Now, Youtube and Bing! On, Yandex! on, Naver! on, Baidu and Brave! To the top of the search engines! To the top of the brands! Now order away! order away! all prices scanned! ”As fast as I typed the orders they flew, When I met with an obstacle, my limit I blew; So up to the bedroom I ran pretty quick, hoping that wifey has a money-making trick.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the net, that my orders were ready, and the price are set. As I thought of the kids and how happy they'll be, the presents are coming to place under the tree. Mailman came he was dressed all in blue, and his clothes were all tarnished from his hat to his shoe; A bundle of gifts he had stuffed in his truck, the snow was pretty high, and I think he was stuck. His eyes how they twinkled! as he carried the gifts! knowing these boxes some spirits will lift.

His smile was bright, drawn up like a bow, And the hair on his head was as white as the snow; The strap of a package he held tight in his teeth, with four or five packages still underneath; He had a kind soul and a smile he kept, trying to be quiet as the children still slept.
He was agile and quick, a sweet jolly man, And laughed when he asked if I could give him a hand. With a wink of his eye and a nod of his head, We pushed his truck out with nothing else said; He spoke not a word but went straight to his work. So I filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk. The presents were laid out and ready to wrap. Wifey was ready with paper in lap; she sprang to her feet, to me gave a whistle, and we wrapped all the presents like the down of a thistle. As the children got up we hid out of sight “Happy Christmas to them, and to us a good night!”
